Umm there is another zx2 domain page with that photo.. I think. There was a zx2 being swapped to rhd but they stopped if i recall cuz of issues or something like that. I think the owner is on this site

Given that the ZX2 was never sold in Japan or the UK why bother to switch to RHD ?? This seems like a wasted effort that could have been applied to other modifgications.

i vaguely remember this car. i do remember not only the pedals..but the writing on the rear view mirror (objects in mirror are closer than they appear) giving away that it really was the right hand side of the car.

lol...why would you want to be a jdm wanna-be? i dont see any benifit in even the true jdm vehicles other than uniqueness(sp)? true jdm's are nothing but a hastle. have to swap out VIN #'s usually to get past customs, harder to find parts, have to get use to driving RHD. all it is is a pain in the ass.

the bodywork is ok, i dont like the side skirts and how they bow and show the rocker. that looks like shit. the roof scoop looks like shit. other then that it looks ok. i just would never mold the front bumper on. i learned that the hard way and not worth it, but the headlights look like they fit nicely and the rear could use a few more hours of molding.

the rhd is gonna be unique since our cars never was. i would love to get a 93 honda hatch and make it rhd. you guys need to stop bitching about how bad of an idea it is. you guys know if it ever gets done, you guys would rock the shit out of it

The point of being right hand drive is that he doesnt want to be like any of you. i have been to many shows where customizers and companies look for the type of thing that this guy is doing. -aka- real one off customizing. He may not be doing the best job or know what he is doing at all, but IF this is a real photo, we should all respect the effort. Any real customizer will have the passion needed to get done whatever he can imagine. Those of you haters who have nothing else to do other than bash his idea should spend some time and show all of us that you are not just another bolt-on fag and you have real car talent and knowledge. athankyou.

I will admit I think I liked driving RHD a little better. Holding the wheel with the right hand was a bit more secure. Although the engine was on the right side as well, so it felt a little lopsided. You could really tell the difference between right hand and left hand turns.

So I like having my LHD Z.

i drove a rhd 5 speed integra and an automatic jeep Cherokee , it wasn't that hard to drive, you don't have to really relearn how to drive it, its more like driving a new car your not used to. but i'll stick to the lhd.
if you would switch it over you would need to build a whole new dash that would be a pita, with jdm you just order the dash for a ridiculous amount of money.

You could probably swap a JDM protege dash and other parts over. When I had my CB7 Accord I was contemplating swapping it, but it was just too much work for nothing more then "wow" value.

I would, however, like to RHD swap my Corolla, :)

We've already discussed this. The picture is real. Indicators like the text on the mirror and other small things say so. He's "Trying" is correct. And The Image of the RHD car is the same as the others. Look at the door panel paint.

Edit: Also, it was last updated almost a year ago.
