Im thinking pretty much any projector should work as long as it will fit in our headlight housing

I just want to know where to find some projectors without having to spend hundreds on a headlight that I'm gonna just take apart.

I got mine the other day from the pick and pull by my house, they had a 2000 Lexus and I got both headlights for $44 after tax :)

I was actually looking at a lexus as well. It had one headlight entacted, and the other had a peice of the headlight missing, but both projectors were in great shape

If I remember correctly, Nismo actually used lights from a Civic off of ebay. I think they were around $100 or so. He fabbed those into stock headlights. All he did was cut the the housing around the lights out of the Civic lens' and glassed them into the ZX2 ones. If I were you and you were planning on doing something like this, I'd check e-bay for something cheap you could use. I've thought of getting some of the Focus ones and fabbing them up. The price on those is anywhere from $100 to $150.
Something like this in the link for $138.....hopefully they don't come with lenses either....:p

Those both look like they use filament bulbs and not Xenon bulbs. We might run into problems with the hi/low operation of a bi-xenon kit.

Nope, I bought a new kit.
I'm gonna re-open my housings next week ordered a set of bixenon projectors off an Acura TL. I currently have Acura TSX projectors which only give me low beams. Ill do a writeup once i re-open everything assuming i find my camera. I'll have the wiring planned out ill post that too if anyones interested.

We might run into problems with the hi/low operation of a bi-xenon kit.
Are you suggesting this because of the potential space restrictions in our housings for operating the bi-xenon (primarily hi beams)?
I guess I'm just wondering if there would be any reason for searching for a set of bi-xenons to retrofit if they probably won't fit. I'm sure a xenon retrofit would make a world of difference anyway.

The projectors I've seen have a hi projector and low projector. Unless you can fit both projectors into the housing you'll have to pick either hi or low.
Anyone tried fitting the Acura TL bixenon's? From pics they dont look much different from the TSX ones. Looks like they should fit.

Buy me some and I'll tell you if they fit. I'm not kidding. Get a set and if they fit I'll make yours for free (labor).
Well got my TL projectors today. THey seem bigger but im considering bypassing the stock reflector alltogether and making a custom alignment rig. Ill be pulling off headlamps this weekends we'll see.

good luck with those... i tried to put 2 audi RS6 projectors in each housing... going to be the first quad setup... um yea... damn near impossible... lol project was put on hold... don't think there is enough space... plus i'd have to fab a custom alignment rig too... that takes like no space...
well they fit had to modify housing though. I have clear lenses on there now, shrouds kept falling off need to find a way to keep them on there.

How do you adjust them? They look smaller then the one I used. You can mount it to the reflector and then adjust them like you would the stock lights.
Assuming your asking me, i just pop lens off and turn the projector and they didnt fit had to modify housing otherwise lens would not fit.

I guess that glob of shit on the bottom of the projector would rule out mounting it to the reflector.

Aren't those halogen projectors?

correct... but they arn't the same as mine... they are using one set for high beam and one set for low bean... meaning only 2 are on at one time...mine will be the first if i complete it that has all 4 bi-xenon (all for can be on for high or low beam) setup
Lol why do you want 4 bixenon? 1 set of bixenon is more than enough as far as ive seen. What type of projectors you using though as in from what car?

I figured if i'm making a projector setup... i might as well make them all compatable for hi and low to gain the full potential light output possible... plus it'd be unique and the whole point was to have the lights be the best i've seen.
I'm using the Audi A6/RS6 projectors... D2S bulbs at 4300K (pure white)... didn't get ballasts yet because i first want to make sure these will fit... got only the best shrouds evaaaaaa (crossfire Gatling shrouds/bezels...) i hope it'll all fit. honestly i have no idea how i'm going to make it adjustable.
EXPENSIVE SETUP!
got the 4 projectors for like $280
extra set of headlights for $50
Building materials i'm guessing will be like $50
4 Crossfire gatling shrouds/bezels $60
Wiring and ballasts are going to be like at least $250
TONS OF WORK
finished product... priceless ... and like $700 :( lol

and yes the cougar ones are halogen projectors
Cool goodluck with fitting all that stuff inside the headlight housings. I had to cut the housing to make the TL ones fit.
