Hey everyone!

Alright, so I was wondering where everybody else go the pulleys and belt when they changed their timing belt? Did you all just go to the local Ford dealer, or was there somewhere cheaper?

Also, I've never done a timing belt change myself, and I know there's a write-up for it, but since I wouldn't be able to drive if I screwed this up, I'd like to have somebody else there for my first time. So I was wondering if there is anybody near me with tools that I could compensate to help me out?

Thanks!

I bought my Gates timing kit from rockauto.com. It comes with the pulleys, tensioner and belt for around $100. They ship really quick too. We did my timing over a year ago and have had no problems.

You can't find anyone to do your timing belt at a local repair shop for $100?

Buy the tools you need. This job does not require many, and are not really expensive at all.
And get new pulleys for the timing belt at his time. Seem like a lot?
Not in 6 months from now or longer - you'll be very glad you did it right. Bad pulleys cause belts to fail.
