So I'm drivin down the road doin the speed limit, on my way to Pizza Hut to pick up my order. I pass through an intersection about 75 yards from the entrance. As soon as I get through the intersection, I put my right turn signal on and look in my rear view and notice the car behind me is turning at the intersection and the next car behind is a ways back. So I get to the entrance and this lady is walking across and is right in the middle (small entrance). I have to stop because she's in my way and she just stands there staring at me. Next thing I know, I hear brakes squeeling, look in my rear view and a white Jeep is right on my tail with the people inside basically touching the windshield. The woman looks up then back at me, so I said fuck it and slowly crept in between her and the shoulder which left me with like a foot of room.

I didn't get hit but if I did it would be the Jeeps fault. BUT, damn michigan has no fault so it would have come out of my pocket anyways... Seriously tho, why are people assholes and dumbasses at the same time? I don't get it...

Your very luckey. Not only would you have gotten rearended but the lady would have been hit and possibly thrown a few yards. Could have had vehicular hommicide charges brought against you.

It could have been very, very bad for all of you.

Haven seen an accident up close and almost being rearended plenty of times is enough for me to be very weary of that. Never been in a car to car accident yet and hope I don't have to be. It's no fun when you look in your mirror to see a car coming fast, front dipping way down, and the sound of friction of rubber against the road coming from behind... Now I just prefer the back roads. The highway from my school going home is only 1 lane each way which is ridiculous, and they constantly have pointless construction on it. It's not worth it to drive that way. I hear about really bad accidents on it at least once a week, probably several more minor ones besides.

It's good you did something besides sit there. Sometimes in those situations it's hard to think much in only a couple seconds. It could have ended badly. I don't understand people a lot of the time. What was the lady expecting you to do...?

Shit man... i had something similar happen the other day. This asshat was driving sorta slow, so i passed him. I then notice he's speeding up. He goes to pass me, changes his mind, the tard is on his cell phone with his girl yapping at him.

Some doucebag lady decides it's a wonderful time to cross the street, I had to immediately stop. This guy didn't see that I was stopping till it was ALMOST too late and I see his car NOSEDIVE behind me. Meanwhile I'm stopping for this chick going "FUCK, hit lady? Get hit by car? FUCK! This is a bad situation." i'm obviously not going to piledrive the pedestrian so I slow down even more. This guy BARELY stops for me.

I proceeded to roll down my window, poke my head out and scream "YOU MOTHERFUCKER! GET OFF YOUR PHONE! DIPSHIT!" and continued to drive.

After that he gave me a good 10 car length of room.
