So I have a Fidanza short shifter...and I need new shifter bushing since like 1999...well I've tried some OEM stock ones...don't fit...I've even tried some Energy Suspension or w/e shifter bushing..and still didn't work...any ideas?

There's only 1 actual shifter bushing I know of the one at the bottom that connects to the shift linkage. If it's not in yet take it to an auto parts store and see if they can find something that fits.

Are they the bushings that go on the bottom of the shifter itself, OR the bushing up by the transmission?

I am assuming the ones on the shift lever itself correct? Ive never seen/used a fidanze but OEM ford ones from zxtuner should fit, they fit my b&m...

Hmm...well idk what I did with the bushings...but they were HUGE...no way in hell they would fit with the shifter and the lever.

All I know right now...is the shifter is all over the place. Its a PITA. If I weren't use to the car...I'd easily shifter into the wrong gear..lol

When its in gear...it feels like neutral...and hell you don't even wanna know what neutral feels like....

This is a zx2 correct? If the bushing is big like you say it goes up by the tranny, a big thick bar goes to it.It's only one bolt, easy bushing to replace. Zxtuner sells "shift rod" bushings. It's a four piece set. Theyre expensive... They fit where your talking about.
