Here's my engine bay. Mods are in my sig. I powder coated the intake and valve cover silver. The close-ups are much more representative of the true color. The flash on the metallic made them look almost white in the other shots.

Tis an OBX, and I love it.

Whenever I get around to making a 2.5" exhaust I'm just going to cut the 2" collector off and weld on a 2.5", they make it 2" so it bolts to stock exhausts.

That red didnt exactly stick around on the valve cover. Now its mostly in flakes in random crevices in the engine bay.

It was a pacesetter but I changed it a bit. Ive been messing around w/ intakes for a while. I have a few others that made some darn good power.
Im happy w/ the way I have it. Oh as far as my exaust It sounds like an STI I dont like it so much. Custom dwn pipe to a Trust muffler. I bought it off my friend he likes the all JDM style.

Here's mine. Nothing fancy and kinda rice. I melted the original mounts for the throttle cable (hence the coathanger) underneath the mounted starter shield is a Pacesetter header which I eventually wrapped with exhaust wrap. I would recommend doing it for anyone because the wrap really cuts down on the heat.

Well Throttle response was lagged and maybe slower but i think i had really high mpg's. Had to remove since as soon as i put it on it started raining alot and didnt wanna hydrolock.

No, it's a 2.75" 90* reinforced 4-ply silicone bend. You might be confusing the way the silicone is wrapped for electrical tape?

The valve cover baffle should not be hooked up to the intake. Cap the nipple at the intake and put a breather filter on the baffle.

With the way it is currently set up, the crankcase will get vented less as the throttle plate opens up more.

you will need to get a rubber grommet that fits inside both the filter and the holder so you can attach them.

lol...It's actually a starter shield wrapped in heater duct tape. I burned through the original throttle cable and needed something to protect the new one I had to put on. So far it's been a year with no problems. The cables stay nice and cool.

You can get it powder coated or buy some high temp engine paint. I'm not sure if Lowes carries it. You can get it at Wal-mart or autozone, or O'reillys or any other auto parts store. Just make sure its the high temp engine paint, it'll say so on the can. Also make sure you clean your valve cover real well.
