SO I did the EGT rear disk swap a while ago. I just got around to putting in e-brake cables.

For some reason the driver side cable wont lock the caliper. The passanger side locks fine, the wheel wont move one bit.

The nuts at the bottom of the caliper that hold the cable in place is tight.

Anyone?

Did you adjust the caliper ? Did you adjust the length of the cable from the front hanger? The pads have to be adjusted so the e-brake will work , same with the cable .

ahh, ok. its too late now, bUt it looks as if I need to adjust the caliper/piston with a 4mm allen wrench on the back of the caliper, hope that works

Turn the rotor as you turn the wrench , when you HEAR the pads scuff STOP , back it off just a HAIR . Once you have everything adjusted the calipers will adjust when you pull the e-brake on .
