im new to this site as well as the ZX2. just got my car around the 1st of October and thats when i joined the site. im quite embarrassed to say this but i have no clue about the ZX2 or any other car for that matter. Cambo's going to be helping me along the way, trying to teach me what there is to know and what could be done to the ZX2. hes also talked me into going to meets and possibly having one myself.
so, im looking to have a meet around the mid-end of November. we can all meet up at my place, have fun with the cars then afterwards, BBQ and lots of drinkin. if you're interested in coming, just let me know and ill try to get it all set up for us.

where at in Peoria? i live in Washington (grew up in Morton) and there's a couple other guys over in Peoria. i tried getting a meet together last weekend...but it fell though. we had a good turnout last november...but the icestorm that his us kind of made most people dread wintery meets. let me know anytime you want to know about your car....i work on zx2's for free so long as you help do whatever it is you are doing....even transmission rebuilds! my dad has a pretty pimp barn i do most of my stuff in..even powdercoating. hit me up and we can meet up anytime and i'll let you see what a zx2 can really do with just a few mods (i race autocross in the SCCA with mine..and drive it on the street still!)

i live in east peoria not far from washington at all. but its all fresh to me so you guys have got to give me a little lead on things.....lol. i think we are going to try and get it together around mid-end of november. i got to check with cambo and see what he thinks.

i told ya man, i got 4 bedrooms and only 2 are being used and the other 2 got queen size beds in them and i have a rap around couch in the family room and a couple recliners, plus a full size couch that youll sink into, a couple love seats and a couple more recliners in the living room. plenty of floor space as well. i told ya man, my house is huge. i got plenty of places for people to sleep.

dammit ian you better come. havent talked to you in a bit man....if you do decide to come we can meet at my house and all caravan up there. no me and my friend tim are co-owners of the zx2 and 350z and we are going to buy two more zx2's soon....one boosted street racer and one twin turboed drag car. we are making the 350z into purely show and my zx2 is still getting turboed very soon.

its all about having a good time and meeting new people and occasionally falling over, lol. its gonna be all good though. nothing wrong with that at all. where u fall is where you stay so all you guys who are going to be drunk as hell, stay outa my bedroom, LOL!!!

oh and i forgot to mention that you better be sure i pass out 1st, hahahahaha!!!!

but anybody, it dont matter how old you are, you're more than welcome, but, if you are underage and you drink, you will hand over your keys and consider your ass camping out!!

got a day to do this yet? also..will this be an all day meet? if so we can cruise over to my dad's place to do any installs in a fully tooled somewhat heated barn. we should definitely get a photo shoot up on one of the hill drives...and a nice backwoods run through Fondulac Drive :cjw:

i have a race that weekend. i'll try to shoot for Sunday the 16th to race....but i might have to put the meet on the backburner if i need to prep my car. i'll make an appearance...but i won't be able to stay too long. it's the last autoX of the season for Central IL.

yep, saturday november 15th. you gotta at least show up for a few. we are having free beer and food and basically a motel for the day/night, lol. its a party palace. my house is huge and the ol lady and baby are going to be gone all day and night so we are going to part hard.....and cambos ex is going to strip. (he just doesnt know it yet, lol) he'll get so drunk he wont care after a while.

well.....i was reminded this morning i have surgery on the 14th. i totally forgot! so it looks like no race, and no meet. i'll just be chillin at my place if anyone wants to stop by out of pity for my sore balls....i'll be able to get up and grill some burgers and play some Wii...but i don't want to drive anywhere with big swollen nuts.

hey if u come u might be able to get a stripper to kiss ur swollen nuts for u.

and i work every sat. and i really cant call off at the moment bc were short of people. but hopefully next semester ill have off the weekend and maybe ill actually be able to make it to a meet sometime.

yeah..the drink til you puke phase was quite a long time ago for me. i enjoy tasty microbrews...not swill. i only have a cigar every blue moon, too (although i feel you on the 2 hour bit...i had a Cuban when i was in Cuba that lasted me over an hour!) i just assumed you get a lot of testosterone and alcohol together there might be fights...especially if cam's girl comes to kick dan's ass.

i was thinking we could all meet up at the hardees (101 N. Main Street in East Peoria) then from there we could go to the strip and have a little fun with some racing, then from there go to my crib and start with the BBQ, drinkin, talking, and working. wut do you guys think about that idea????

i was thinking of having a get together in very early December...not a meet per se...since it would suck to have another meet with snow, and i'd most likely drive the Malibu once it got cold out. but i was thinkin of grilling, cookin some ribs, bustin out the Wii, toss back a few cold ones, etc.
