2000 with an ATX. When driving-if it goes in overdrive or drive at all, it shifts form first to second at 4500 rpm, then never leaves second. On a computer, it hits second and fires 2 and 3 solenoid simultaneously (maybe four too-can't remember), and the ecm thinks that it shifts into third and overdrive consecutively. Problem is the thing NEVER shifts out of second, no matter how fast you go.

Ate up the tranny already (direct drive clutches were bare, and all but the biggest ones were in bad shape), burns a stupid amount of gas (maybe 10-15mpg), .........and also had a problem with the ac compressor slamming on and throwing the whole engine assy forward/making helacious noise when put into drive).

Had to leave the ecm wiring harness loose in the ecm to get the car to engage OD/D at all. Otherwise it is start in L, then switch to D at the right speed. So far have had all tests on sensors and solenoids come back correct readings.

Is the bastard haunted? Gremlins? A curse on all white ZX2's?:something:

Forgot....we tried a different ecm. Got the same problems, only more error codes logged. (the other ecm is a KZ or someshit off of a 1998 ZX2 with an automatic tranny).

Further testing reveals: pressures test bad to 3rd and 4th when running (too low of psi), air test shows all parts functioning correctly, all electrical tests good. The car basically drives like a 2-speed auto, starting in first then shifting to 2nd at about 5000 rpm.

Anyone got any ideas. At this point their telling me that we are going to change out the tranny. Dude thinks maybe the casing is warped slightly or something since he replaced pretty much everything serviceable inside and it still does this shit.
