Is hitting me really fucking hard...lol. Seriously, I don't think I have done any homework since Thanksgiving. Somehow, I still have straight A's. Right now it is 2:24 am and I am just getting off the phone with girl. I'm not going to 1st or 2nd pd either...because I just don't feel like it anymore. IDK, I feel kind of bad, but then I don't really. I graduate in 18 school days, take off like 6 more because of "Senior" stuff. I'm so excited and I am just not motivated to do shit anymore...haha. Anyone else had this problem? Let's hear the stories!
On a side note...girl is coming over at 7:30 tomorrow to sleep...since her mom is off tomorrow and we are both tired. :brocoli:

i skipped school and played golf during the graduation test (it's a 4 day event here in Georgia and every junior takes it). two of the days we ran into the administrators on the course. luckily they weren't supposed to be there either, so it quickly became a don't ask don't tell situation.
my first period class spring semester became nap time. i would wake up and make it to school, and then crash in front of my computer. the teacher told me to wake up one day. i asked him what my grade was. he said i had a 99. i went back to sleep.

I'm only a jr. and I've had senioritis for a year... >_<
what's the point?
I dunno...I just don't see any point in caring about school. I don't hate it, I just don't care...

I've had senioritus since middle school man. It's been getting worse though.. I used to stay in school to go to gym classes and everything I've stopped doing that now. I go in, get out, done. That's when I go anyways. The only reason I go when I do is to see these two girls. School is teh suxxorz. I still have 3X days left, but I'll get my fair share of skipping in starting soon.

Hey now, it's only been a few years for you. hokay? :p
I guess I think the same way though. I'd kill to be a freshman again. Life was good. Life was cheap. Life was easy. Now I have to pay bills.. LOL.

The good thing is, at least at the school I graduated from, is that the teachers either realize this, or are getting the same way. My teachers not only cut us some slack on our work, but also seemed to pretty much let us do whatever the hell we wanted in the last 3 months of school. =D

Your profile said you were 21? How'd you manage that one.. lol.
I've never worried about honors or anything. I do what I have to, nothing more.. nothing less. School is not important to me.

What I learned in High School so far:
You can do whatever you want and nobody will ask questions as long as you act like you are supposed to be doing it.
^this is true for almost everything in life, i've found.

Indeed it is, younglink. If you are doing something and a cop is coming over and you act like you're worried.. they know. If they are coming over, you make eye contact, and go back to what you're doing.. they just shrug you off. Interesting stuff.
I guess that makes sense, 2000zx2chik. lol.
Me too havoc. This is all I do in class.

I'm going to a community college, but it's actually still one of the better schools in the area. I'll be going for free hopefully.. full scholarship from a machining company around here. w00t.

Some are willing to do it, some aren't. You might be able to go to your local boces/votec and talk to their employment opportunity person. Thier job is to hook kids in votec up with jobs, and they know all of the ins and outs of the companies around. They won't help you probably, but they might be able to let you in on a few companies local to you that would hook you up. You'd just have to call them n such yourself.

Some states have whats called a pell grant, where the state pays for you to go to college.

aha...thats somehthing diffrent they pay and you dont owe them anything... financial aid u gotta [ay back... i guess ur parents make a decent amount of money

Financial Aid you do not have to pay back. If you are under 24 and unmarried, it goes off of your parent/guardians income. My parents made too much, so I didnt see a dime.

yea but i dont live with them and they didnt claim me on there taxes for 2 years now and they still dont concider me independent. but it will all chance come this august, cause im getting married to my girlfriend of 5 years

Yeah, I'm 20 and have lived on my own since I was 17, still have to go off the parents. Can't wait until I turn 24, because then I am probably going back to college since I should see some Financial Aid coming my way.

Try and get the affliction under control before you go to college. hs was easy, I took ap's, got 27 credit hours from them(should've gotten 30:angry:). I get to college and people tell me to study, I remember the same thing being told to me in hs and just  until I got my first tests back, shit hit the fan. I still have a gpa over 3.0 so it's all gravy though. As far as work paying for school, I'm trying to get into Pharmacy school after 3 years. I also work for CVS. From what I understand, if I agree to work for them a few years after school, they'll foot the bill for Pharm school. If you can find a similar deal for whatever you're trying for you're golden:rocknana:

yeah, same situation with me. And that SUCKED. I had to claim my parents' income....yet they weren't paying a dime for my education......then they'd go and claim my tuition on THEIR taxes and get the education credits back.
This was my first year filing the fafsa married, so hopefully I'll get some help this time around!!!

Nah I'm trying to get in, I'd have gotten in for this coming year but my organic professor reported I made a D then changed it to a B without notifying anyone:confused: so it's too late to get in now, I'm just going to have to wait another year and pay 26k more for school

Damn that sucks man. I know a bunch of people in pharmacy major. They all hate it here. Whatever you do don't go to USP
Don't go to StLCOP either. That was like prison.
Eh, it was a good school........but still very prison-like, haha.

Ah those were the days...when you could do a ton of illegal activities and it would be dropped from your record at 18...theoretically of course. I graduated 8.5 years ago. Semester early at an alternative school work at your own pace ftw. Got 2 years done in a semester.

Our school is good and very well known by companies but its ridiculously hard. I'm told the graduating class of pharmacy students is only 50%

Ya I haven't lived with my parents since I was 17 they still claimed me. At least they helped but without them I could've got grants that I didn't have to pay back.
