Stealth/Sleeper Exhaust

Has anyone gone for a almost stock sounding exhaust on their Z? Personally I don't really like loud exhausts and was kinda wondering if I should try to have Trubendz add an additional resonator to my 2.5" Magnaflow system that I just ordered from them. My setup will have the high flow cat and a resonator on it already, but I wanted to find out if it could be quieted further. Would a system with two resonators have much worse performance? I'm gonna call Trubendz tomorrow and see what they think but I thought I'd give you guys a try as well.

you could have a twin loop muffler made for your car. i was considering this a while back, but it would have been 5-600 bucks for one. it's basically a muffler with two chambers...the exhaust goes through it, and then loops back around and comes through it again. it's like having 2 mufflers in one. a resonator won't quiet it down as much as a muffler would. look up "mugen twin loop" on google for an example. it actually dyno'd better than most other mufflers, too!

I've got the Pacesetter exhaust, and it sounds too much like stock. It hardly even noticable of my intake... but then... i pick it up for CHEAP!!! So no complaints.

Stealth is easy dumps hehe. Sleeper good luck if you want to put a header on it.

I am going to have my side exhaust on each side again and have black tips on the black car with the ww kit with but outs for the tips. Then black rims and dark tint to finish it up.

Small pipe is the quietest.
2 resonators is a bit much.
Use quality parts.
You might look into a Walker Dynomax rear muffler.
Get as big as will fit.

okay mine was quiet now its getting a little raspy but is still quiet..i have 421 header with 2.5 stainless 24" magnaflow resonator and magnaflow straight through muffler... but it basically sounded like a crappy stock car now its a raspy crappy stock car... so you can use that as an idea

also i have no room to add any more resonating material...that 24inch one took up most of the room
