using smoke machine to find evap leak?

ive had an evap code for over a year now and ive replace alot of stuff and still cant figure it out. somebody told me i can smoke the leak out with a smoke machine. whats your input on this method?

btw, this is my code -> P0446 Evap Emission Control System Vent Malfunction
ive replaced the vent solenoid thats behind the driver rear wheel, the other thing (i forgot whats its called, its late) behind the throttle body and all the line to and from the "thing", and the vents(2) that are on top of the gas tank.

There is a fuse for the vent solenoid. Have you checked that ?

^ what i meant by that is, ive checked it and the fuse is good

make sure the cap is locked on the gas tank, like under the seat. i got this code once when the lid had popped up above the little lock holders

it looks to be on there good. i dont smell gas either. but on the right of the cap in the first pic and the bottom of the second pic, is that evidence of a leak?

How about the EVAP right behind the throttle body?
Those lines and the unit are the first things I'd check

i replaced that canister along with the lines, and this morning i sprayed it with starter fluid to make sure the idle wouldnt jump, it didnt.
