Need the general public's opinion

Hey guys I have a forum use question for you. I have the option of adding a forum stats above the chatbox. It would show most active users, most viewed posts, most active threads, most rep points, and newest posts. Is anyone interested in this?

This would give you a way of keeping track of hot posts, new posts, etc. The reason I am even asking is I am worried of over crowding the front page. It may or may not be a big deal to any of you. It doesn't matter to me. It's on a bunch of forums I am on. Just looking for YOUR opinion. That's right YOU.

Let me know. I have been going through looking at a butt load of mods and hacks that look like they may interest some people.

Everything I had to say was already in the chatbox. It's cool I can just minimize it.

I think we should remove the "small" chatbox from the main page though... we replace it with this component and we keep the link to the "Full Chatbox"

That's not the idea....it was the intent from the beginning. The forum rules, which still aren't posted yet(i didn't think it was a big enough concern because everyone knew them), apply to both the forum and the chatbox. It's no different. Everyone's ignorance on the subject is not my problem.

if you are at work and want to take the risk to chat, just assume. it doesnt matter where this chatbox is. Its just the fact that both the chatbox AND the stats component will take way to much place. I even think the chatbox alone takes to much place already so...

Eh, I've never read the rules in what 7 years or so following the site around. If someone has a problem with you talking shit about them...stop yadda yadda. If they are playing around with it and then a mod comes in and says stop...stop yadda yadda. If things are NSFW then put NSFW right...well you can't do that with the chat box can you? So I guess the intent was to make it work safe even if you don't want to say it. Then again I guess I can have all this messed up since I've never read the rules.

in the butt is fine. Excessive cuss words and actually talking about sexual things is not. It just has to stay safe for work. If it's questionable it doesn't need to be there.

Im not moving it off the front page. It is a good central location.

The stats are at the bottom of the page currently.

I'm all for it, though I'm not a huge fan of having everything at the top of forums. Maybe having that below the forums on the main page, or at least a way to hide it for those that don't want to see them every time they visit the main page. I know I'm sounding picky and all but I mainly view TeamZX2.com in my random quick couple seconds between tasks at work and the more efficient the navigation and readability of a page is, the better. But that's just my opinion. =P

Awesome. I've run several forums and have had people complaining at me that the page is too cluttered or hard to read so I just figured I'd throw in personal experience. =P
