I am looking to eliminate engine noise from my system. It seems to have gotten worse over the past year or so. It seems to be at its peak when it is really cold out. I also noticed that when I switch my tail light bulbs back to regular bulbs instead of the led's I get even more noise, I even can hear the blinking throught the speakers when I have my turn signals on. Am I just looking to reground everything or are there other causes?

what brand head unit? check all your system grounds including the one for your head unit. also make sure your rca cable is not run next to your power wire and crosses it as little as possible.

I read on the old site where you might want to put rf filter in the fuel sending unit in the gas tank but I would do as previous poster says chk all grounds first

I have a Pioneer P8600MP. I am familiar with the grounds from the amps and my cap. Anymore info on the ground from the hu would be great (such as how to trace it and what to look for: i.e. is it a sizable black line?)
Also, when my HU turns on I hear a brief noise through the subs (like a static thump sound). Also, I do know my rca's are away from the power line.
