Im looking at a bomz intake for my car. I hear they are very good intakes. I also want to turbo my car. Would an electric turbocharger from ebay suffice? or should i get a tornado??

Man.. I installed a 'lectric SC in my car... and dunno what i did wrong... but the directions told me that the car needed to be modded to RHD and I had to flip the rear differential upside down... so now i have 5 reverse gears... and i drive backwards all the time...

That ESC also gave me like 40lbs of boost!

Yes I've used it. It kind-of works. David Gettle logged it getting a whole 1mpg more. The theory of it sounds good, but once it enters our intake manifold its pretty useless in my opinion.

Use 93 Octane and you will be ok for a while. Wouldn't recommend for long term use though. It measures your detonation levels, if you get too much predetonation you blow your motor.

dude, just run vegtable oil. 50 miles to the gallon. OR race gas for that extra powah

Things to Avoid:

Electric Superchargers.
If these worked then no one would spend thousands of dollars on real kits. Sure, the fans put out a lot of air but not nearly enough to feed an engine running wide open. They end up just restricting airflow. Some people don't understand this or they are just ignorant and want to waste $200 any way they can.


Ebay Chips
You might notice a chip on Ebay that promises a 20-45 hp gain for the resonable price of $40. All you need to do is splice it into one wire on your intake. This mod is bogus because one, it doesn't make 20 hp, and two, it cost them less then $5 to make it. This is the same thing as the POT's mod you can do yourself. The Ebay chip also doesn't come with a switch so the PCM will adjust it out in a couple days anyway and make it useless.
