S/r lower engine mount

was changing the oil last night on the S/r and was looking at the engine mount for the transmission on the bottom, and noticed it is a solid mount, on my 98 it had 3 holes cut in it for the ES mount inserts? now the mount by the cam gears have the 3 slits in them, it was only the lower mount that i noticed.

I heard that S/Rs had a few better engine mounts than standard ZX2s.

or could it of just been a thin rubber film from the molding process?

no it is a solid mount.

I know the front mount is poly. I have never looked at the rear. Next time I have the car up I will check it out. I really doubt that it is solid. The upper mount appears to be stock.

I thought the s/r's came with the ES poly mounts, not solid?

this is a black solid mount, i will have to take pics when i get it in the air again.

it is a black ES mount, none on the rear

I had the car up today and checked out the rear mount. I definitely is not solid, looks almost the same as the front.
