I'm selling 4 19lb/hr injectors due to my engine running slightly lean in the high end. I have to upgrade to 24lb/hr. These injectors have been installed for about 6 months with only maybe 3000mi on them. Im asking $100 shipped. It will be a good upgrade for someone who does intake pipe and exhaust pipe mods. My mods exceed the limit on the 19lb.

18, McNews Automotive say they are 17. The Ford Racing injectors have better spray patterns then the stock escort ones anyway.

19lb are good for up to 140hp at 80% duty cycle. My 19lbs are maxing out and I want to stay in the 80% duty cylce range, so an upgrade is needed. Which means I'm putting out 160hp or more at the crank.

i thought 19lbs were stock for the zetec? and i believe 99+ had a great spray pattern

19lb is rated to 145hp, our stock ZX2's 130hp rating are exactly matched to a 17lb/hr output reading, although some people say it is a 19lb but with an economic spray pattern instead of a optimal performance spray pattern for best fuel atomization, which equals better performance. McNews Automotive claim they are 17lb for base ZX2's. But according to my laptop the fuel injectors are pumping out 100% on the 19lb/hr injectors, which means I'm at 163hp or more (138whp or more). So regardless I need to upgrade. These injectors will work up to 138whp, possibly a little more if your intentially running leaner. Bottom line, they are for sale.

The BS is heavy in this thread. ZX2's already have 19lb injectors stock. Selling stock size injectors as "upgrades" doesn't fare too well with the ZX2 community. Ask Peanuts Parts

We do have 19# injectors but there is a diff with the Ford Racing injectors. ZXTuner sells a set of 4 for $150 bucks. Are you saying Rob is ripping people off? I know I use a set of these and can tell that I have a better throttle response and my gas mileage has improved some.

You're an idiot. If anything, the only benefit would be using new injectors over old ones.
Either way, a 19lb injector is a 19lb injector. A better spray pattern is not going to allow you to make more hp.

I did not say hp fuck tard, maybe you should pull your head out and read more carefully before you open your pie hole.

I know that. I stated the only reason you would see better throttle response and gas mileage is that your using new injectors over old ones. I then hit the enter button to start a new statement which was towards the OP stating these injectors are good for more hp.
Maybe you should keep your mouth shut, just because you've experienced the placebo effect of your new "racing" injectors doesn't mean they're better.

I did notice alot better fuel economy and more pickup in low rpms over stock.

I bet if I clean my stock injectors I would get better fuel economy too. You're comparing brand new injectors to old stock ones. Of course new ones will get better gas mileage. The only "upgrade" is that they're newer.
Is it really that hard to figure out?

Being a mechanic for 5 years, I cleaned my injectors every 6 months and when I switched to the FR 19lb I noticed better performance. You never tried switching from stock injectors to 19lb FR injectors so what do you know about the difference? Better fuel atomization equals better gas milage and better performance. Are you going to tell an ASE certified, Ford Certified, and UTI graduate that it doesn't do shit?

Do you have any proof that the FR ones have a better spray pattern? Do you have any proof that states they are different in any way? Also you're going to have to find a more credible information base. (17lb injectors? lol) If you really think Ford has specific injectors built for each engines power output then your certifications really mean nothing to me.
Either why my original argument was your injectors are not capable of any more hp than stock ones like you had stated. BS doesn't sell well on TeamZX2

Yes I do have proof that it sprays differently, if you had 20/20 vision you can also see the difference in the nozzles, take the fuel rail off and spray one and you can see it sprays wider. The FR injectors will provide better tq through better fuel atomization and therefore increase slightly in gas milage. You can reach a higher torque output with the FR injectors over stock. How about you proove to me that the stock ZX2 injectors are 19lb rated. No where in Ford documents can I find that it states it is a 19lb rated injector, you go against McNews Automotive who say they are not 19lb rated.

If you really need someone to prove to you that ZX2's come stock with 19lb injectors, arguing with you is only a waste of my time.

Did you have to reprogram with those injectors, or can you get away without it and still notice the difference

They are stock replacements and need no retuning. As Escort Pimp said 95% of that minute difference you feel is from the fact that these are new, or were anyways.

o also the 150$ price tag for four injectors is really good... considering 1 injector new at Auto zone is about 60 dollars...
