Well I'm working on dropping the tranny, but I can not get the driver side axle out of the tranny...
The directions say just use a pry bar and it'll come, but it's not. I've done all the steps correct up to this. Passenger side came out fine

Throw some swear words at it and pry in 3 different locations. Get 2 pry bars on 2 different sides and it will defenatly come out, intact or not.

One time I carefully tapped a chisel in behind it to pry it out. Worked pretty well.

if the issue continues, remove the axle from the spindle, and leave it in the tranny , drop the tranny out, remove axle when you can get to it easier..

I had to leave a shifter bar in the trans once because the bolt was fuched up. Swung that shite like Neo in the 2nd Matrix! (j/k)

Auto Zone rents a slide hammer and axle puller. I usually just have someone help with another prybar from the bottom while I pry from the top.

well I got it! Wedged my pry bar in between the axle and tranny. Put my back up against the wall, feet on the pry bar and PUSHEEEEEEEDDD!!!! All the sudden POP, and the pry bar goes flying across the garage! and she was out! lol
But ya I have to drop the tranny because I think I fried the clutch. Not working...
