Well, I just painted the rear bumper =(

Well I went to autozone and was getting paint and the guy who had worked there was talking to me because I couldn't find a fiberglass paint. So he was like here and gave me this primer and black paint, I was reading it and It said for "Metal, wood, or drywall" So I was like dude this shit isnt going to work. Well he kept saying its going to be fine It will work dont worry. Well mother fucker I aint worried now I am just pissed. I painted the rear bumper for the body kit I was doing and it turned up like shit. The can said gloss and it was suppose to be gloss so it could match my paint, this shit ended up flat black and feeling all rough now. I wish I could see this guy so I could knock him the fuck off dude. :pissed:

don't you have to put on a clear coat after the paint in order for it to become glossy? Idk much about paint but that's what I thought.
Sorry bout that tho. Go back and tell him to give ur money back!

Oh I did I put like 2 cans of it and its still rough and looks like its flat black

It's spray paint man, how much can you expect? I dabbled with a bit of spray paint once, and it didn't work well. Sometimes you just get what you pay for.

I've gotten decent results from a rattle can. I did a few light coats of primer and several light coats of color with a touch of wet sanding then applied the clear then a bit of wet sanding then a little cleaner wax after a few weeks.

You don't need special paint for fiberglass just get a good automotive paint.

Yeah, wet sanding will make it pop. Be patient!
