    Default BOV sound clips

Ok guys I'm making this post cause I'd like to hear what the different blow-off valves sound like on a ZX2. If anyone has a sound clip of their turbo'd ZX2 with a BOV, please post it up. Also include in the post which BOV you have. I have a new Greddy Type RS BOV, but I'm not sure if I want to run that one or another one. Thanks.

Honestly man, Youtube has some GREAT BOV videos...they'll sound the same on any car (or extremely close)

That'll probably be your best bet.

Yes...since they all blow off. It will depend if he is going blow thru or pull thru.

sorry mabye i should have been clearer.

I M H O, buying a BOV for the sound is the wrong reason...you should be looking to vent excessive pressure. not for sound.

    but what do i know...

    Not much, Sniper boy

I M H O, any name brand BOV will vent excessive pressure, you know, since that is what they are meant to do.

of course thats what theyre ment to do. but you should know that not all parts are created equal. PERSONALLY i would spend my time and money looking for something that performs better, rather than something that sounds cool...

like i said though, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION (IMHO)

No, I'm not buying a BOV for the sound, I was just looking to see what all the different BOV's sounded like. As stated above, I already have the Greddy Type RS BOV. IYHO, which one do you think is the best performing BOV? I'm fairly new to the whole turbocharging a car, and I'm just doing what they call research on everything.

Thanks Brad, I'll check on you tube when I get a chance.

    You should get this BOV

This collage has a few of them. I actually like the Greddy blow-off valve sound the most.

Zx2Fast is the only one that has made a bov clip on a zx2, that Ive heard of. Other than that I really think you may be out of luck. Try searching for turbo Focus clips. An even further stratch is a turbo zetec contour or cougar. IMO I think for the most part bovs sound about the same. Good luck choosing one. I personally like the new synchronic bovs. And would choose between that and the greddy type s or the hks bov. All Ive heard perform and sound great. Also if you cant find a greddy type s there is a company that remade that bov. Its like a quality knock off. They used all brand new parts to remake it just for the sound, but from what Ive seen it performs well as well as the original.

Found it. NGR look for all of there videos. There bov looks and sounds really good.
