That was back in 2001. Even if I did keep the slip it wouldve been deteriated by now. I manually shifted it from low gear up to get it to rev further then the stock shift pattern. So unless 2000 Acura 3.2TL's run 17's I would say my ATX was at least in the 16's.

dont waste your time, we all know your full of it. "16.6" my ass.

btw, my cars is completely gutted starting from behind the front seats to the trunk. also have a C/F hood, and ive pulled some useless metal out from the engine bay. i also ran the set of 15's that i have that day. the heavy 18's stayed home. weight was around 2500.

this was also with half a tank of 91 octane.

Either the drag strip your going to sucks, or everyone I raced sucks at ATX. There is no way my ATX ZX2 was running 17's.

Most ATX ZX2s will dyno around 90whp on a dynojet. So you're telling me that a 2500lb ZX2 [driver included] with long gear ratios [compared to an MTX ZX2] with roughly 90whp is going to run a mid 16?

My dyno for it was 106hp with the K&N air filter (not system), I dont remember the torque. It was done in 2004 at UTI in Glendale Heights, IL when I attended there. It was a bare bones ZX2 package with manual widows, cheap seats, and no sunroof. Everyone I raced according to Motor Trend and other published 1/4mile numbers were in high 15's or 16 second times like the Subuaru SVX (atx only) which was a close race, a 2000 Acura 3.2TL (atx only) close race until past 90mph, 2003 Mustang V6 (atx) until about 80mph, and others. I only started going to 1/4 mile tracks when I bought my MTX zx2. And you probably wont even believe me when I tell you I run high 14's on street tires without nitrous or a head build.

Yeah atx zx2 are anywhere from 17-19 1/4. So spykez has a pretty impressive atx.

ok. He had a faster ATX then mine I give him that. I'm just saying maybe my bare bones package being the lightest atx in the pre 99 zx2 with 18,000mi made it a mid 16 second car, thats all I'm saying.

your seriously going to base your times off this?

like the Subuaru SVX (atx only) which was a close race, a 2000 Acura 3.2TL (atx only) close race until past 90mph, 2003 Mustang V6 (atx) until about 80mph, and others. I only started going to 1/4 mile tracks when I bought my MTX zx2.

lol, bare bones. its not that much lighter if any compared to my "stripped" version.

again, you have nothing but published numbers based on some "races".

post a slip or some type of proof to back up your claims.
