I don't see how that was a 'dickhead' comment. This is a domestic forum, if you don't like it, don't read it.

You realize how ridiculous your comparison is? That ZX2 has more work into it than any gutted Honda with a big turbo slapped on it. Heavily modified? Yeah... that ZX2 is much more modified than a POS Civic.

I was waiting for that, but you gotta realize that you tried to compare a heavily modified 4 cylinder to a stock 408ci v8. That just doesn't work. Imagine if the guy stuck a blower on that (along with the turbo on the said civic). Tell me whats faster now. And, steel tubing and fabrication really wouldn't cost that much if you could find a deal or knew someone (or did all the fab work yourself, which I'm sure he did). I guarantee that this guy wouldn't dump that much money into this zx2 if he wasn't striking a deal somehow. On the same note, if you didn't know anyone and didn't know how to fabricate parts like this than it would be a waste of money compared to the said civic.

This goes along with me and building my street rod. If I didn't know how to do it and paid someone else, I would be paying 20-30K easy to have this thing built. But since I do know and have connections and get parts a little cheaper than the rest, its only going to cost me about 10k.

Fast, do you know that his 351 Windsor was stroked out to a 408? The only thing he replaced was the tranny. I'm assuming you know this, but your video seems to make me think otherwise.

He took the 351 out and installed the 408. This is not the same engine as before. At least that is what I gathered from his explination of it. He also told me the heads wouldn't flow enough for this displacement and that he was going to do something about that. Not enough head on that large of an engine.

I would imagine that the heads wouldn't be if he was using stock 351 heads. Maybe he did use a different engine, but you can stroke the 351's to 408. Cool regardless.

    I'm sorry...

WTF is a "stock" 408?? A stroked 351 Windsor, no matter how mild the motor may be, is not a "stock" 408.

This has nothing to do with me agreeing or disagreeing with you, just that that point is flat wrong.
