4.06 gear ratio atx swap

is the smaller tc gona help with acceleration or just how high i can brake stall?
i know these trannys came with i believe a 10" tc compared to the 2 differenent 11" tc on the other f4eat trans. but sadly i dont think the tc are available to me.

trans with the 4.06 ratio should be out of a 95-96 f4eat with a tx code. the others had tj codes.

no offence sportcp but i bet ur gonna be out of my price range. but ur saying that i need the dif and gear set then? will that dif work with my axels?

im not the expensive actually not doing to make a mint, just getting by lol. I can get the parts new and reconditioned, i dont mark up parts on a rebuild and i charge a flat fee for transmissions like 276.00 for a manual and a lil bit more for a automatic...

You will need the differential and idler gear assembly as shown in the attachment. Ring 69T, Idler 41T, Drive 17T

oh wow i was gonna look for an exploded thing like that but hadnt got around to it.

do u know any other information u would like to share? can i just swap those parts from the tx over?

Yes you can.
Our ATX is based off of the Protege / 2nd gen Escort, and most of the internals will work in a 3rd gen ATX.
I am presently looking into using the Quaife LSD for a Protege ATX in the ZX2 ATX.

Thats right.
You only need the differential, idler and drive gears (3 gears).
