Old school pics of my 1st camaro, that ended up donating it's frame when I wrecked the new one. I spent most of the summer doing bodywork on the car. I was 15 when I got it. Car was in good shape rust wise, just needed a few patches on the floor boards. Part of this car still lives on in my new camaro...

Then came what I have now. These are pics my dad took before I bought the car. I actually never saw the car before I bought it. He told be about it over the phone and I said buy it. This was when I was 17 years old.

Here's without the snow on top of it

I don't have many pics during this stage of the car's life. Didn't have a digital camera back then. But This is what I do have. During this time we also built the motor and put that in the car. I also spent a few hrs and buffed the paint job.

Before I could afford wheels and tires

After about 6 months of saving, I bought wheels and tires and for $100 had the exhaust finished from purple hornies back.

It's came a long way. I've always loved just about every year body style except the 93-02, or whenever they stopped making them. I think they still look nice, but the worst of them.

Then the wreck, happen a few months after I started driving the car. Inexperience plus, power plus 4.10 posi equals bad news.

So the only repair pics I have. My 1st camaro gave up it's frame for the wrecked one. I sanded the whole thing down and painted the frame and rad support. After a 12hr day we had everything swapped between the two cars except the sheet metal and small stuff.

The car all fixed up. Took a month working everyday to get it done. Finished it the month before I started WyoTech.

Old taillights, and the ones I polished up for it

Did some suspension work, here are the few pics I have of it. QA1 coilovers at all 4 corners, plated the rear frame rails for strength. All brackets were made from scratch. Fatman Fabrication tubular control arms in the front. Poly bushings everywhere I could put them. Solid motor mounts.

Nope, the end build goal is handling. See how much over 1g I can pull. Once I get a house with garage I'll tear it apart and start building a frame for it.

Looks awesome man, I've always liked that car. Weren't you trying to sell it a while back? And why did you never paint it?
