So, it seems these get started earlier every year... maybe next year I'll start it after the SB... or during the playoffs when speculations of the upcoming seasons are abroad lol.

So, LOTS of moves lately... NE is being picked apart slowly...

Cassel, Vrabel and Scott Pioli to KC
Josh McDaniels and Jabar Gaffney to Denver

    Some others to FA IIRC...

Should be an interesting season for NE... lol

Wow you started this early I think I'll start 2010-2011 right now!!!

NE is giving up. They understand that their dynasty is over!!! Really though, don't they have like 4 picks in the first 2 rounds or something?

Wont matter cuz DALLAS reigns ALL!!!

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

They do have 3 picks in round 2, but will likely use at least 1 of them as trade fodder on draft day...

NE is reloading... They've learned you can't do it in one year and they did sign a running back with a couple years left in the tank. Build a consistent winner and even if you aren't in the hunt for the SB in a given year, you've got a shot over a 4-5 year span.

Giants, Dallas, Eagles, Vikings, Packers, Titans, Colts, Panthers all do this more or less well. NE has a better shot at reloading, than teams like the Lions, Rams, Raiders and few others. Teams like Arizona have a shot for a couple years and watch what happens in Atlanta. Romo still has to prove himself, he hasn't stepped up to elite status yet when the chips are on the line. I think TO hurts Dallas more than he helps them.

I wouldn't call NE favorites, but I wouldn't give up on them either. Given free agency and coaching changes, I don't think anyone can be called a favorite for 2009. Sure Dallas has a shot, but probably half a dozen teams have similar shots, and any one, including a couple dark horses could knock them off. 2009 may be one of the most open seasons in the NFL in recent years.

Last season was pretty open lol.

Time will tell with NE. It's going to depend a lot on the QB / coaching situation. Having Brady back, and the fact that the damaged knee wasn't his plant leg is helpful. But if he's timid in the pocket (which he never has been; but, he's also never been knocked out for a season like this time), then that's not a good sign.

We'll see where this goes. But I'm looking forward to this season... I have my weekends back and a 56" Samsung DLP HDTV to watch games on

They haven't won a playoff game for 13 years...so longer than a decade.

Dallas is basically the Raiders with deeper pockets. Both teams will be better off when ownership changes.

Note where I said "over a decade

And NE's lost more than just players, although admittedly none that "scare" me being gone besides cassel. So in that regard, they've been picked apart more than the eagles, but I'm interested to see how they fill the coaching holes...

Collins & Fuller re-sign to Tennessee.

Haynesworth moves to Washington in a 100 million dollar deal.

Haye comes to Tennessee from Tampa Bay.

Washington comes to Tennessee from Pittsburgh.

I am excited about Collins coming back (although fearful of a Brett Favre type year) and am really excited about picking up a good wide out.
    Byrd (Cappy)

Former ZX2 owner who regrets getting rid of his awesome DSG deuce that had the only TRUE cold air intake. By the way, if you know where it is now, I WANT IT BACK!!!

Dallas' only hope is to drop Romo and get a quarterback that can perform in games that matter.

Dallas fans are going to get upset with me agreeing with this, but Romo hasn't proven himself as a big game QB yet, neither has Cutler. A couple people did, Cassel impressed me far more than Romo or Cutler, now is his chance to prove himself in KC.

Warner certainly has a few years left in the tank, and I'd like to see Brady have a comeback year. Flacco and Ryan showed plenty for rookies who have their heads on straight. Both Manning's are going to win games. Brees is still good but he hasn't gotten there yet, if ever. Philip Rivers still has to prove himself like Cutler or Romo.

Big Ben surprised me more than anyone else. I always thought of him as a big strong QB who was going to win some games, but the last drive in the superbowl showed me he's more than strength. You can argue about calls earlier in the game, but Ben could have folded on the final drive. He's got great downfield vison and can put the right touch on the ball and stepped up when they needed him. Romo has to show he can do the same.

and a WR that doesn't mind the ball going elsewhere...

Would it be too much speculation that they picked up another top WR to ditch owens? lol

TO is one of the best WRs the league has ever seen. HOWEVER he has a bad problem with attention. And yes Romo needs to calm down and learn to relax all the time...

NE wont have much this year because the greatest Coach currently in the NFL is still molding Miami. That's going to continue to be a problem for NE.

Sources are saying the TJ Hushmanzalidnaingmndfjbnf is out of Cinci...does this mean Ocho Cinco stays?
