Default Why are the 98 ZX2 better?

As I read different posts in the different categories. I keep seeing references that the 98’s are better. Like the Tranny’s and fuel rails.

What is the big difference with the 98’s and all the rest of the ZX’s? Did they do a motor/tranny redesign in 99, detune every, or is it only these two parts? I am working on a 98 now and I am interested in why everyone is looking for parts off the 98’s.

the 98 trans has slightly shorter gearing for better accel.

there is actually 2 other fuel rails that came on zx2s. no performance difference, one had an schrader valve on the end, and a fuel temp sensor in the middle. the other only has the schrader valve.

In fact, when people come in, he reclines on the couch, leans back and grabs his package and says "'sup." If I try to slap his nose to get him out of my food he just leans back and squints and starts working the jab

there is also the pcm in some way. I am probably the only one (or almost) that is going to say that, but if your 98 has the MTA4 PCM, its better than the others. No bashing here. If you think I'm wrong, just say it in your head. I dont care what ppl think, I tried it several times and the MTA4 is definitely better in my experience.

I have facts that MTA4 is NOT better than any other PCM. It's programmed exactly the same as every other shitty non-s/r ECU. SCT also has the facts too. No one gives a shit about your butt dyno.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Fact: My shitty non S/R ECU owns a local S/R. I have a few mods and he is stock, but it's not even close.

Don't make me ban you for being ignorant. Superchip + Powder UDP + Intake > S/R. Not even taking driver into account.

Also the 98's have better headlights if you're going to do the clear corner mod, right?

Vit, we are just NOT gonna have this discussion again.
My 98 MTX (Hotshot intake + MTA4) was dead even with an S/R that had UDP, ODP, Kami header, CTA intake + Cat-less. from a roll 70km/h to 170km/h. at 170 he started taking distance SLOWLY...
