Yokohama Avid H4s:
these tires were great as a commuter tire. they had a hard compound that lasted a long time. the grip is not great as far as a performance application, but worked great for daily street use. in wet and snowy conditions, they did surprisingly well. the sidewalls were nice and stiff, but not too stiff (40 series 17" wheel). overall, i would recommend them to a daily driver/commuter who wants a long lasting tire.
had them on the car: 3 years front and back, 5 years just on back
conditions: daily driving (Alaska, Florida and Illinois), some autoX (when they were on back with different tires up front).

I put The Yoko AVID H4s in P205/55R15 87V on my sons ZX2 & daughters ZX3. Looks like they will go 50-60K on both cars. Good looking & very predictable all season tires. They may not give the max performance but are a great value at about $75.ea from Tire Rack. The ZX3 had Continental Extreme Contacts before, they really worked great but cost too much & wear out too fast.
I have had mine for 4 years and there life is about spent. I gotta get a new set befor the snow comes. They did great I. Rain I never hydroplaned unless it was a crazy puddle and the traction was good in snow too. I'd also recommend. I ran 195/60/R15
