MTX swap

[ARIO98zx2]

I want to do swap my ATX for an MTX, but not in the near future. Who in Texas would be up to it? and for how much

-I dont have an MTX transmission available
-I dont have any parts
-I live with my GFs parents so you wouldn't be able to stay in the house
-I dont have any special tools required

This is just a survey to see who might I be counting on later.

LOL Id help if I were in the area but I doubt youd want my help. My car sat for a month b/c of a blown fuse. ROFLCAKES! Iwould highly recommend a jack, jackstands, impact gun, some good ratchets and sockets, and at least 1 buddy, preferabley 2-3 that halfway know what there doing and at least 2-3 solid days were your car can be down. Good luck doing this one day lol

did you not read what you typed in the beginning? your asking someone to supply all the tools/knowledge/place to do your car. might as well just bring it to a shop lol.

i just helped do this in 11 hours...and that was with a lot of running for parts/tools, BSing, and stopping to get a beer every so often. then again, brad and i know our way around a zx2 pretty well, and alex used to work at a junk yard....but still, we took our time

ill do it for pizza and beer. ill go to a few junk yards and buy everything youll need and take all my tools to your place. you can watch over my shoulder the whole time so you can see how easy it is.

I know nothing about swapping transmissions. Thats why I typed that. I am willing to pay. And for some reason, I trust you guys that are on this forum better than a shop. You guys KNOW these cars.

i just did this swap this weekend in my garage, but like i said, i'm in IL...and if i were to do this again, i'd have to clear it with the wife self admitedly...i've been spending too much time around cars lately. but then, i do need money.

just to get an idea, how much would I have to spend on parts and your labor?

parts, i have no clue. i can PM you what the guy paid me this weekend if you like. you need lots of parts, and your best bet is junkyards.
