No air-cooled flat six fans here? Even if the 911 isn't your favorite car, you must admit they put out some impressive performance hp/displacement figures. I've never been acquainted with one, but I humbly admire them from a distance.
    So stock, it's SCARY. rawr.

Rumor has it that the 1969 302 engine produced 350 horsepower at 7000 rpm.

Actually if you read the link I posted it said it made closer to 360 hp with the 780cfm carb, and about 400 hp with the dual carb setup which was optional.

Thats impossible the only carb they had on that motor was a holley 800cfm dual feed. Every 302 except the ones with duals for the cross ram had these carbs. The casting number on every carb was 3910 except for ones made in california, they were 3911 simply because they had the AIR emissions system on it. Thats from a website, and obviously not accurate since they claim a 780cfm carb. I've read ACCURATE tech manuals on these before. Plus actually done some work on them. Im pretty familiar with the motor.

If they are anything like the ACCURATE tech manuals that tell the Ford service department that the zetec is an interference motor, I would question the ACCURACY.

Nothing surprises me, but GM is a worse company than Ford.
