Luk makes good clutch products, especially their throwout bearings.
Under $180, AutoZone's lifetime warranty. This clutch is super comfortable. Light peddle feel, a soft grab at low RPMs. Super smooth. My wife can actually stand my driving now. I highly recommend it for stock or lightly modified zx2s. I am still iffy about how it handles at high RPMs. I've not went over 70 mph to see how it holds, but I have redline shifted, and it feels a bit sloppy. Still grabs, but maybe too smooth for a performance junky. IDK. I have still been able to chirp the tires when I shift to 2nd from redline in 1st, so I guess it still grabs efficiently.
But the real selling point is the AutoZone lifetime warranty. I used to work there and I promise you it is as good as a warranty gets. Lose your reciept, remember the phone number, and ten years down the road, you can still walk into any AutoZone in the nation and do an equal swap, even if the part is now worth more than what you originally paid. Also, if the part is defective, and you have paid someone to put it in, through a long and anoying process, you can even have the warranty cover the cost of your mechanic. They don't like to advertise that though.
I will post more once I have done a 3rd gear redline shift, but I still have some work to do before I can trust my car at higher speeds, so It'll be a while.

BTW was it a SR equivalent clutch or just plain-Jane ZX2 clutch?
Lowrider and I think that the entire engine in my S/R has been pulled from another zx2. Lots of non OEM bolts are holding it in, my valve cover is not blue, and the clutch was regular stock motorcraft clutch.

OK, but you didn't answer my question. Is it SR specific- the LuK clutch?
Nope. Just a clutch.

I agree with Eric and Zack!!![]()
Huh?
There were only 7 98 S/r's made, one of which is in Zack's possession. They were more of a prototype, and no one knows where the other 6 are.
