excuse(s) for rice??

Raced a 1st gen talon tubro in my 95 escort lx and dusted him, his excuse was he didn't shift out of first until bouncing it off the rev limiter for close to 15 seconds.

raced a 2007 scion xb that the guy said he had tuned ,had a stage 3 clutch, and intake/exhaust against my 96 lx hatch(gutted cat,accel coil,cone filter,cherrybomb) i told him that his box couldn't beat my jacked up beater. so... he followed me down to the drag spot in our town. we lined up and launched. i let him launch first. we were even though first, then i fucked up into second(didn't get the clutch in enough) as i got into third i was a fender ahead. got to the top of third and i was a full car ahead,shutdown. pulled over and this is what he said "i forgot to turn my chip on" so i told him to turn it on and lets go again. to which he replied "uh... ok". lined up, launched, i didn't fuck into second this time and got him by over a car. to which he said"what you got under the hood asshole" i said take a look its basically stock... 88hp that is. he said"no fucking way, you fucking with me" i never thought my Friends and i would never stop laughing.

Me and a buddy were at a stop light in his 2007 Pontiac grand prix...automatic and stock at that!..... and this little riced out car pulls up....I THINK it was a nissan, but for once I couldn't even tell you (think body kit, three color paint job....hood fenders and doors were different colors.... and of course a fart can).

We look over and laugh, and he see's us and starts revving his shit. My buddy drops it down to a lower gear.... doesn't rev....... light turns green, we spin our tires and bolt out ahead of this loser, keeping a full car length ahead the whole time.

He catches up, rolls down his window at the next stop and says "Dude, that was wicked... what the hell do you have under that thing that whooped my ass".... and without missing a beat I said "Two more cylinders!"

A guy in a turbo civic gave the excuse that he only had his boost at 8 psi( i was in my N/A zx2).
when i was in my 66 mustang some guy in a 6 banger stang with a body kit and dual exhaust tried to race, I smoked him in front of his girl and he gave the excuse that he was breaking in a new clutch... sigh

one time, a guy came on here and said his zx2 beat a corvette in a street race...not really a ricer excuse..more a ricer fantasy

Korndog has this kid in one of his automotive classes that has a grand prix that "runs a 13.2 second 1/4 mile"....... He says he's got a brand name intake and exhaust.

From what I've heard, a Stock '07 GXP does about 13.8/13.9. Buddies is just a stock base model. So I'm guessing high 15's/low 16's? He knows its slow, but that doesn't stop him from spinning tire and acting like it's a 12 second car at times, lol... thou he freely admits its a big ass car that's pretty slow. And ocassionally whooping the ass of a ricer with just a fart cannon and body kit.

My Z is automatic with intake, modified exhaust, knock unplug, 89 octane, 205 wide AA traction tires and from a dig he annihalates me. From a roll I can jump ahead and stay there for a win. (Thou it's not far). Obviously, slow Z is slow.... lol.

But yeah 13.2.... don't know what a stock '07 GT runs, but I doubt 13.2 with intake and exhaust.... but who am I to tell.... I use a butt dyno.... aint got a track around for miles.

i got one better than the corvette one and its actually true!!! i beat a 350z with some rims and and exhaust was all i could spot....i beat him by 3 cars because he grinded every gear i swear lmao he pulled into the taco bell down the street after me and demanded a rematch....i demanded he learn how to drive his own car and asked if he wanted a taco or burrito from taco bell lmao he got mad and left

I had some kid in his mothers 5 series pull up to me at a stop sign and then rev on me after getting off work. I smoked the kid and his friend riding shotgun right then and there and just to add injury to insult I just burned rubber in his face as I was turning on the outside left turn while the mercedes started to pull some serious body roll. I almost felt like rolling down my windows and let him catch up just to tell him not to rev his mother's car if he can barely drive it
