    Unfortunately the Ipod's grip on the trendy high school girl is overwhelming enough for most audio manufacturers to offer an ipod connection on most of their head units. I'll get it for its sound quality if my phone actually works with it then it will be icing on the cake for me. I know I can direct sound from my phone to my computer so I don't see why it wouldn't.

    I just had an awesome thought jump into my head, the synchronization of my phone and headunit. My phone on the dash proving my GPS and playing my calls through the stereo. Sweetness...

    It won't be a problem, i can play music through my bluetooth speaker/mic that i have in my car.

    I think this deck is 7 1/4 inches and we have 7 11/16 space in there.

    Well I ordered it and its here, without the faceplate on its about 3mm longer than a dollar bill no where near 7 1/4 inches it says.

    Well we half ass installed it last night, premium sound ftl and we did this after we dropped his transmission and I got home around 8am this morning. It has power and all that shiz is hooked up but no speakers at all. It looks fawkin awesome! I thought it only had the typical eclipse just numbers and shit but it doesn't it has a graphical EQ that can be set as the display look and some other things. I had no idea it had the visuals it does on that screen...ballin that's all I'm gonna say. It also accepted my phone into bluetooth so that's a win win for me.

    Anywho, I just bought 50 feet of 16 gauge speaker wire and a bunch of my favorite connectors. I might hook it up today sometime I really don't know my head is pounding and I'm really cold haha. I was no dressed to work on Matt's car last night. I'm just happy we got his latest zx2 trans out and motor will come out no problems now. Almost there too many projects haha!

    Wrong. It said 7 1/4. Missing about an inch with the face plate on if my eyeball is correct, and it always is.
