Edit to explain something: The car was free. I traded a couple parts off my totaled 03 to get this car. I pulled it out of a field in South Dakota and put it completely back together in a couple days. Most of the parts on it were free (either stuff I already had or trades), the parts I paid for: I honestly don't think I've paid over $300 for a single part. So yes, it looks like crap. But in the end it's going to be a freaking amazing budget build.

So, my last ZX2 died horribly-

Then I went to South Dakota to get another ZX2-

When I got it, everything in the engine bay is disconnected (he was going to take the engine out), the axles are out of the transmission, the brakes are apart, the interior is in pieces, no rear bumper, no tail lights, etc. (It's essentially in pieces.)

Finally started on it today-
Ya'll know I like having multicolored cars-

The only reason I have a toredor red bumper and an atlantic blue car is because it was the only bumper in 5 junkyards that wasn't damaged beyond repair.

My growing pile of crap that is damaged and I don't want or stuff I'm just throwing out-

the only work I've done in the engine bay aside from rip out the rest of the stock intake-

Plans are to put it all back together, weight reduction, some minor bolt on engine mods, my wheels I had on my 03, 03 front and paint it black.

Manual doors on a power car-

They're on there until I find good power ones. All the ones in the junkyard are ripped apart.

Header panel and driver side headlight-

Little bro sitting in the floor of my 03 to steer it when we were pushing it out of the garage-

I have a collection of cars apparently-

The swap begins-

Driver side axle, hub, brake assembly, wheel, all the crap from my 03-

Neon hood to cover the engine on the 03 (which was totaled by a Neon...)-

Using a ZX2 seat cause I can-

More pics tomorrow! Car runs and drove like 3 feet. Would like to thank Corby for reminding me that without the crankshaft positioning sensor- the car will not run. Also, won't work with a 98 fuel pump. (Connections are totally different.)

Plans now-
- hook up the gauge cluster
- put in at least some interior
- figure out why the power locks don't work
- figure out why the driver window is possessed
- Install 21mm RSB
- Install strut tower bar
- OBX header
- paint the thing (this is a low priority since it's a daily beater and was essentially free)
