    Default 2010 teamzx2 autoX challenge!

this is open to all members of teamzx2, no matter what vehicle you use!

to make this fair, we'll use PAX results from events. it'll be an average as well..so if you run 20 races, or just one, you are still able to win. all event results must be either linked from a website, or a photo taken of the results and posted.

scoring works like this....say there are 100 competitors, and you place 10th. you are now at 10/100 or 10%. next event of 100, you place 5th...now you are at 7.5% (15/200). it'll be a running average.

we'll have a winner not only for best average over the season, but whoever places best in a single event...for instance, you average in the 10%...but get that 5%...your 5% qualifies you for winning the best single event PAX result!

i don't have a prize in mind yet...but maybe i'll throw in a nice professional tire gauge for best average, and something else for best single event.

    enjoy
2000 S/R FSP build: APC shift knob, LED tails, zx2 sticker on the rear bumper, Silverstar headlights, blue spark plug wires, optima red top battery, Magnaflow muffler, and some lowering springs.

yeah, the nice thing about PAX index, is that you can win this with a stock zx2, or any other car, really.

    1. First solo ever in the ZX/2. Fort Wayne Event #1. 24/54 = 44.444444% (not so good result for me but interesting number)
    http://www.fwscca.com/solo/2010resul..._04112010.html

    2. Second Solo. SBR Event #2. 21/50 = 42% (took FTD of the various Touring classes but I got whipped good by a lot of good drivers in other non-touring classes)
    http://www.sbrscca.org/solo/2010_poi...ack_Index.html

    3. Third Solo. GLDiv Series solo @ Grissom Peru 6/5-6/6. Big concrete course. Got spanked by well prepped Honda Civic Si's. I expected it. 53/97= 54% ( I was the only one in the class not towing my care to the event!)
    http://www.soloseries.org/2010/10_SBR-1_pax.pdf

    Running average = 98/201 = 48.8%

I guess I'm just a mid-packer in this car but I'm still having fun!

Next event Lake Michigan College, Benton Harbor, MI 6/19/10

EDIT: I just realized these aren't PAX times, because the club doesn't do PAX. Those are raw rankings based on ET. So it totally doesn't qualify.

It's probably not 100% fair that I'm racing a Miata in a Miata club (though other types of cars race there too). So feel free to exclude these times. Hopefully I'll get some times up if I get the Escort together enough for an autocross in a couple weeks.

    May 16, placed 16/93 = 17.2%

    May 22, placed 20/63 = 31.75%
    http://www.windycitymiataclub.com/jo...4-5_22_10.html

    June 6, placed 13/67 = 19.4%
    http://www.windycitymiataclub.com/jo...5-6_06_10.html

    June 20, placed 15/51 = 29.4%
    http://www.windycitymiataclub.com/jo...6-6_20_10.html

My Miata total for probably the whole season:
    64/274 = 23.358%
