They say ultralite on them. I've never weighed them. According to a quick Google search, Konig Kolors in 17" are 17.36 lbs with no tire mounted.
-'03 ZX2 MTX Twilight Blue, Progress Springs, S/R Struts, 17" Konig Kolors Gunmetal, EGT Rear Discs, STB, 19mm RSB, LXQ1, Iceman Intake, Esslinger UDP, TWM Short Shifter, S/R Shift Knob, MX3 Seats, 35%/20% Tint, Pioneer DEH-9400BH, Polk Audio 6.5", PowerBass Amp, Rockford Fosgate 10", RE Audio Amp, DDM HIDs, Projector Headlights, LED Conversion
The things I really want to get done before the national meet are buying and installing the 6.5" component speakers (Polk Audio DB6501) and amp (Polk Audio PA250.2), and replacing my current head unit with the Pioneer DEH-P7400HD mainly for the rear USB connection. I also decided I want to install my Esslinger UDP I've had sitting around for nearly a year. I need to change my timing belt still, and I have my 5th gear swap I didn't get to do over the Spring Break. I'm hoping I have enough time and money to get all that stuff for the meet.
Hopefully you can get that done. I had wanted to change my timing belt and fix the body damage from my collision. Oh and find some '03 wheels too. I still wish I had known you were selling yours awhile back lol.
Hey, I don't know if you know, but I randomly checked pick n pull's inventory and there's a grey '03 listed there. Go check it out. Might find the wheels. If not grab the radio adapter and/or bumper if either are there.
I really wish I wouldn't have sold my '03 wheels now.
Damn, I might have to go check that out. I went to Roosevelt this past sunday and was planning on going to PNP, but I didn't have time. Why do you wish you'd never sold your wheels?
Partially because I sold them way too cheap. I probably would have ended up putting them on the '98 and selling them that way if I had still had them, but I've considered going back to the '03 wheels if I still had them, or at least have them for spares if ever needed.
Yeah I remember, $50 was a freaking steal. I like my 17" wheels, but 17" tires are way too expensive for my tastes.
One update, after doing some more research I came across the Pioneer DEH-9400BH, in comparison to the DEH-7400HD it looks better, has an extra USB port (both on the back), Bluetooth connection and hands free calling. I'll probably install it sometime this upcoming week. I'll be selling my Pioneer DEH-P4200UB if anyone is interested. Bought new in December 2010. No issues or major cosmetic flaws.

I may be interested in your other unit.. I'm wanting something brand new and have my eyes on one, but might settle for a used one.
I'll let you know. I need to look up what it's worth and I'm too lazy to do that right now.![]()
Waiting on Serious' supplier for the speakers and amp. But since I had the day off I installed my new head unit and cleaned up the wiring while I was at it. Before my wiring had butt connectors and nothing was zip tied together so it was a big mess.
The colors for the buttons and screen are changeable individually or together. I opted for an orange screen and blue buttons to match my orange and blue color scheme. It has bluetooth calling, but I haven't found a good place for the microphone yet that looks good. and I'll have to test for functionality as well. It was pretty easy to figure out how to use since it's setup pretty much the same as my old one. After playing with it awhile it's exactly what I wanted and a little more. Looks great, has rear USB, pretty much the same intuitiveness as my old unit, and I can control my iPod from the iPod rather than the unit when plugged into USB (couldn't do that with my old unit). Extra USB, more colors, and bluetooth are just bonus.

Pretty sweet head unit. I love the fact that you can change the colors I wish I had that option on my pioneer head unit. I have the DEH-3200UB one that I got for a good price and I just have never felt like putting more money into sound stuff.
I'm big on listening to music so I ended up wanting to upgrade my system to hopefully finally make it sound awesome.
That Dynomat looks very interesting.
Never underestimate a good driver, and a determined little 4 banger.
