    2. Stock final drive is 3.74 which is way too tall of a final drive to get this car hauling ass. Stock size tires are 23.7" therefore using a 22" drag radial will put me at 22.1" tall resulting in an effective 4.01 Ratio.
    3. Going from a 16" wheel combination to a 14" combination will bring down the rotating mass.
    4. Drag Radials are lighter then street radials.

How will I slow myself down?

I made a 16.8 Pass on a poorly prepared concrete surface. 770 feet above sea, 82 Degrees Out. Full Interior. H/E/UDP/Poor Detonating SCT Tune does that count? For reference a new Mazda 3 MTX ran consistent 16.9's to my consistent 16.8.
im not sure if i have read this wrong or you are mis-informed but stock final drive is 4.10

Unless my transmission Grew an extra gear, a clutch, flywheel, shifter linkage.......... I think my Automatic Transmission(4-EATF) Final Drive Ratio is 3.74.

You are close though 4 cyl Probes used a 4.15 Final Drive, while 95-96 LX scorts used 4.06 final drives.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

If your car truly has the stones to run 10s, I see needing to shift into 5th at the track in your future...

As for me, I went to the track last week, but only as a spectator/support vehicle for my buddy's Mach 1 (helluva lot easier to throw ET Streets and a floor jack in the back of a pickup). I plan to hit the track soon with the ZX2, before it becomes retarded hot and not worth it.

Nah, i'm putting a 4.388 final drive. 4th gear will be good for ~140mph @ 9500 rpm. Shifting to 5th costs too much time. It's the difference between a 10.9 and an 11.5.

    lol

Ahh. Forgot about the 9500 rpm thing. Yeah, the taller gear makes sense anyway.

Slow98ZX2, will do. Yes, it will be Gulfport. Hopefully within the next few weeks too.

Because two of the cars in question ran 15.7 with light bolt-on's with an automatic transmission.... that's what makes it so impressive...
