Does this sound like a scam ?
I am trying to figure out if this email is a scam or not. I posted on craigslist a video camera package that includes lenses and batteries. I was asking $600.00. I also said that I would ship and that I only deal with paypal.
I just dont get a good vibe. What do you guys think? Has anyone seen a scam like this ?
Here is the email he sent back to me.

Tell him to send the money through paypal. If the payment clears, pull the money and ship the thing. The grammar sounds sketchy, but The United States has gotten so dumbed-down, it may just be your average village idiot who's trying to sound intelligent and professional.

i would say scam considering you said you only deal with paypal and he sent a link to setup paypal and he even offered more than you asked haha and how is ebay stressful? haha

The number 1 thing to look for in a scam message is if they mention what the product is or not. A regular joe that wants it will send you an email saying, "Do you still have this video camera?" A scammer will make a long paragraph and never once mention what the product is, and substitutes it for "that" "it" "item" so that it's a generic copy and paste message to everyone they send it to.
Even if he is legit, he sounds sketchy enough to me to not bother.

the paypal link he will send you will be completely fake but will look just like a real paypal page.
