It would be close, don't be surprised if he starts to pull on you though. I personally don't think think its worth it to race against a crappy car like that though. If you win its not something to brag about and if you loose this guy is probably going to rub it in your face at work.

It might be same as the time some anklebiters decided to rev on me in their mother's mercedes e class sedan. Good torque off the line but no upper rpm power. Ive driven one once and it just choked on the upper rpm's. Although I have to agree with the majority you'll look bad if you lose and you can't brag if you win
