take the can of rotel.... put in blender and liquefy and let it run for awhile to whip some air in.
Take the block of velveeta and chunk it up in squares just small enough to fit through the middle hole on blender cap and put one in at a time and give time for it to whip the velveeta. If you toss them in one right after the other it will overwhelm the blender and not whip air into the mix which is awesome.
You will probably have to help push the last square or to towards the bottom and after it looks good pour it out in a bowl and don't ever heat it. It will be dippable right out of the fridge because of the air that is in it. If you heat it much and put it in the fridge it will get solid again and need to be heated.
I add some hot water and soap to the blender and run it to clean the majority of the blender and then its ready for the dishwasher or a easy clean up after that.
OH YEAH blender stays on MAX WARP speed or it don't come out as good.

ment to say beef FTW! lol ive never had it with sausage. ive had it with ground deer meat and ground beef. i like the beef better. I put my rotel in a crockpot, cube up 3/4 block of velveeta(or the whole thing when i make it at home) then i add 1/2 cup (2/3 for a whole block) of milk.. the milk makes it more of a creamy texture which is what most ppl like im sure for a dip. then i usually cook and add the beef when everything is melted and creamy
I do a whole block of velveta in the mircowave - taking out to stir every few minutes. Then I add two cans of rotel, stir and add 1lb ground beef (cooked and drained of course)...
