Dubbsy's Totally Stolen BBQ Chicken Recipe:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
4 teaspoons brown sugar
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 chicken legs or equivalent chicken meat
Preheat grill to medium or turn on broiler. Place a rack 3" from heat.
Combine the ketchup, vinegar, worcestershire, brown sugar, and garlic in a saucepan. bring to a boil over mdeium-high heat. cook, stirring constantly until thickened....about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add black pepper.
brush mixture onto chicken, place chicken sauce side down on grill or sauce side up on broiler. when you flip it, you douse it with more sauce. Keep dousing and such until you've had about 6-8 min per side and the juices on the inside of the deliciousness run clear.

Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauce FTW.
You know the recipe you posted is the same for Gay Sauce, except you smear it on a queer instead.
Funny, I stole it from a healthy eating recipe. So it may very well be written by said people. BUT because I stole it, means I have undone that aspect of it...by stealing it.
BUT if your idea of bbq is sauce off the shelf and squeezed onto meat...you gots some real bbq to eat. Family recipes for like 10 different bbqs...but I no can post those.
You're a KC dude...why not just substitute the sauce for what they serve at Arthur Bryant's, LC's or Gates?
Just playing...it sounds great!
Sounds good Dubbsy. Going to try and cook this sometime this week.
Compared to pa...all bbq is better. I like haywards as far as chain restaurant bbq goes tho
get some arthur bryants and mix it @half and half with kc masterpiece original and WOW. I am going to try this recipe after the bird hangs out in the pellet smoker for an hour or so at 160 degrees then I will sauce it up and crank up the heat to finish. BBQ ROCKS

Making your own sauces from recipes is way more authentic than mixing other people's recipes IMO.
But that's a KC native living in boring PA bland land speaking.

Alot of people also like to mix like 1/3 grape jelly to 2/3 bbq. Or just add grape jelly to their own. Im really picky about bbq so the only place ill eat it at is this place called the bbq house about 45 mins from my house, the owners are from west Virginia and south carolina and its just amazing.
