Make sure everything is off in the car. Drive around the water box if you can then back up some if needed to stage for the burnout box and do a SMALL burnout/just spin the tires quick, more less to get crap off the tires, then stage at the tree.

Launch at like 2,500 to start, no need to get crazy if this is your first time. Wind 1st and 2nd out to 6,800ish and you can cross the line topping out 3rd. Going to be unlikely that you'll need to shift to 4th which would slow your time slightly if you did.

Next run, go higher with your launchig rpm in increments and you'll find a spot between traction and spinning the tires. Whatever you do, if you start wheel hopping, get off the throttle or you could snap an axle or shatter the differential.

Start with 25 psi in your front tires. Tracks usually have air compressors you can fill your tires back up for the ride home. I usually suggest 18-25 psi dropping in 2 psi increments till you find some consistent traction. Empty your Trunks completly, gut it down to the sheet metal, no need for the extra weight back there.

Good Luck! If your like 90 percent of the drivers here don't be disapponted with a 16 second run your first time out.

90% my ass LOL. 90% of the drivers on here run between high 16 and 19 seconds regardless of transmission, it's real fun to watch some of them talk up their driving and car then run a mid 17.

Decent running ZX2 can run mid to low 16s without beating on it on the launch to hard. Intake/exhaust/tune and people run all over the 15 range in optimum conditions.

I was being generous... Bolt-On MTX's seem to be a solid low 15 second car on street tires.

S/R should be trapping 85mph at least. What rpm did you shift at?
