    Definitely odd, Pure. I automatically thought I blew the diff because it happened as I was exiting a 90* corner. Then realized it was only third that was missing. Still had all the others.

    About to get it towed to the shop to swap it out tomorrow. Putting in Boss's old ZX2 trans with the 98 gears, beefed up diff and thicker axles. Gonna use the sedan 5th gear to save on gas a little.
    That will help but I wouldn't use the word "bullet proof". I had my gear set cyro treated by 300 Below (http://www.300below.com/), I would highly recommend them.
