    Default Unlocking iPhones???

A friend of mine just bought a white iPhone 4 that is with AT&T and she wants to use it for Verizon. How can this be done? I know we have some phone freaks on this site...

Correct. CDMA is VZW and Sprint, everyone else uses GSM. IPhones are not "global" unlike other phones that can switch (HTC Touch Pro 2 for example).

You can usually find ways to make them work as long as the type is the same (Vzw on Sprint, Sprint on Boost, etc) but since technically it is illegal to do so, probably shouldn't be giving specifics here (you have to change the ESN)

Best bet it to see about a cheap, unlimited prepay or monthly GSM carrier to hook it to (TMo).
