Anybody ever try contacting Roush to see if this stuff is still available/sitting in a warehouse corner somewhere? I know it was almost 10 years ago, but, you know, stranger things have happened.

Edit: Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I'm just curious.

I am a man. I have a cat. He is a manly cat. He is not scared of people, doesn't hide under the bed. In fact, when people come in, he reclines on the couch, leans back and grabs his package and says "'sup." If I try to slap his nose to get him out of my food he just leans back and squints and starts working the jab

How about seeing if your friend could arrange for the Roush Musium to host a TeamZX2 meet and get Jack to show his ZX2's to the ZX2 comunity, and we could make him a member of the club...

I’m actually considering a “Roush” conversion on my Z in the distant future. Same paint scheme, seats, rims, eta. For the engine, a Focus Zetec with a built MTX-75 and Jackson Racing supercharger.

Hey, a guy can dream, right?

Nice try! The rims aren't in production anymore. It's not a Roush ZX2 if you use the Fuckus drivetrain.

what the hell would make it not a zx2 anymore??? is it still using a zetec engine yes. is it still a two door yes. so then how the hell is it not a zx2 anymore. so go right ahead and do it it would be fun not original but fun none the less.

My plan is just for a look-a-like with the same (or better) performance from a supercharged Zetec engine and a transmission that would be able to handle the power. I was thanking of a Focus Zetec because a supercharger kit is already made for and bolts directly up to that engine. But then of course comes the task of swapping it into the Z, but a SVT swap has been done IIRC, so it’s not impossible.

Ether way, it still wont be as difficult as my current project, swapping a Zetec and 6-speed into a Honda Accord

So that's how those Hondas have been getting torque?
