    Think so?
"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist." -Dwight D. Eisenhower

"We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans..." Bill Clinton (USA Today, 11 March 1993, page 2A)

"Imagine a world in which one could jump through Grand Central Teleport in New York City, travel through a vortal tunnel in the time-space continuum, and emerge several seconds later at Union Teleport in Los Angeles. Such a world has been possible since 1968, when teleportation was first achieved by DARPA's Project Pegasus. When my quest, Project Pegasus, succeeds, such a world will emerge, and human beings linked globally via teleportation will proclaim the Time-Space Age has begun."

So, I want to improve my car, specifically in the weight reduction phase. I would ultimately would like to go boost. I still have my red z, haven't sold it. I have life time warranty on that engine. Thinking about getting another engine under my current warranty and do a engine build with boost, eventually.

So, my motor mounts needed to be changed. They were terrible. Here's the beginning.

New mount. One of them. I replaced all mounts, and installed my ES inserts.

Needed to change my front and rear sway bar end links, so I purchased Prothane's End links. Awesome product btw.

And while I was at it, I installed my 21mm rear SB. I would definitely like to have the 19mm SB. Soon

I love my new ratchet that I purchased from Harbor Freight. It's an adjustable ratchet.

I also installed a catch can.

And this is how she sits now.

Thx, bro. My red Z had 205/55 15's Kumho Escta's on Enkei PKR's. Light weight rim, from my understanding. Terrible tire. Especially, in the rain.

On my white Z, same rim's but with 205/50 neo gen's. Going to shoot them a nice bronze.

Makes me want a 1-2" drop and bigger wheels even more. I'm wanting 17's though.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of 17's on this car. But if you can't pick up some Konig Kolors(like Nate(jeasusfreak), or some tracklites, don't waste your time, unless you have the power to move them(boost). I've had 17's on my red Z. I regretted it because they were heavy and cause a decrease in my MPG. The biggest I'll go are 16's with either a 205 or 215/45 16. But I'm pretty happy with 15's. But to each their own.

I'm on Megan springs. Was a bouncy ride, till I replaced the end links and all my motor mounts with the ES inserts. Makes a total difference. Still bouncy, but not as much. I would like coil overs, though.

I still would like to replace all the strut top mounts. Also, would like to add a C pillar bar. No one sits in my back seat anyways. Well, often.

You can get 17's with 205/40/17 tires and they would be the same diameter as stock so your MPH reading would be the same as if it came off the factory floor. The key there is light weight wheels then and it might actually increase your MPG. I decided to get 205/45/17s mainly because even lowered, the car had a pretty good sized wheel gap, and every big bump I hit would hit the wheel and mess up the lip a little more. I like the way mine look, but they definitely aren't a nice ride in combo with lowering springs. With the larger diameter tire it does mess up the actual MPH reading, so I just go by my GPS for MPH. By the calculations according to the tripmeter I can get 32MPG highway on a long trip using cruise. Of course since the actual miles it's reading is incorrect it might be more like 33-34MPG.

Apparently Konig Kolors were a limited run wheel. The chances of finding a good set now (in graphite 17x7 4x100) are pretty slim. I've had more than a couple people PM me about selling them.

You're correct, sir. The diameter would be the same, but it it's the weight of the rims. You're rims, nate, are the exception. Those, and the the tracklite series. But to each their own. I'd like to have a 30-35 pound rim-tire combo.

I'm not going to be too picky since I'm buying used. I hate the ugly steelies and lack of wheel covers and I'd like to fill the wheel gap some without a drop.

So , I have acquired a sound that sounds, like, something being wound up. And of course, when I hit the throttle, the sound pitch heightens. It's not really coming from the belt side either. I thought maybe my PS needed to be filled, but its halfway. Any thought?
