I'll probably catch the event this Friday night. Just want to see what my EGT runs.
After that, probably be attending the late Nov. races.

Had a crappy day yesterday at the track. I aired down the tires to 25 psi and that really helped my 60ft. times when i launched the car right. First run i got a 2.385 60ft. hit the limiter in first and got a 17.095@79.47. Second run 2.58 60ft. bogged off the line and got a 17.132@80.38. Third run 2.79 60ft. shitty launch and got a 17.53@79.44. Fourth run 2.45 60ft. Decent launch and got a 16.95@80.84. Last run 2.583 60ft. crap launch again 17.03@82.28. I will try and have my videos of the runs up later today.

For every .1 you take off your 60ft times, you take .2 off your 1/4 mile e.t Glad to hear lowering the air pressure helped you. Also using the stock 14" or 15" wheels/tires would benefit you greatly if you are trying to race on 17" wheels. WHat elevation are you at?

Nice to see other guys hitting the track.

I'm at roughly 5700 ft above sea level. I did take off the resistor mod but i don't think that should make much of a difference. I do have my stock 14" wheels but they have very little tread, I may try them out next time i go.

Your best run converted to sea level was a 15.95 E.T. What kind of mods do you have?

Right now I just have the MMI intake, eBay header, af/x udp, and muffler delete. My best run has been a 16.83, I don't remember the mph but its in my other thread about me going to the track.

Here's a vid I took at our last tx meet. This was my first time racing at the track. In total, I did about 10 runs through out the night. This one happened to be the best of the night, for me. I had a 16.7 run. My first run with spin out, shitty shifting and rollin 2 deep was 17.5, iirc. I have to digg out my slips. Ario, andy and doug were there, as well.

I went to the track last night for the first time with my Z. I'm used to running mustangs, so it definitely was different. The track here makes you got through the water box. I couldn't do much of a burnout because of wheel hop. Here's what I got: First run - 2.4 60' 16.27@84.99 1/4, Second run - 2.38 60' 16.21@84.96 1/4, Third run - 2.28 60' 16.08@82.75 1/4, Last run - 2.28 60' 16.00@83.44 1/4. I know it has a 15 in it, but it was still 91 degrees at 8:30 last night. Whatcha think?
