    MWAHAHAHAH!!!!!! ITS ALIVE!!!! ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!

it does have a noise that i need to figure out once i get the exhaust hooked back up tho

the sound gets louder if its in gear under load. it sounds like metal on metal. kind of like a lathe milling a uneven surface. i will get under it soon and yank on the crank to check for walk. other than that its probalby the cracked/broken flexplate thing.

one thing for sure is it does not have a knock that it would get with bad bearings

im thinking at this point i can try to just put in a new thrust bearing. can this be done with the engine in the car just by rolling it out and rolling a new one in?

also i cant seem to find just the thrust bearing for sale anywhere online....

fairly easy to pull the windage tray in general? ive yet to do it but both of my crank seals are weeping as well as the windage tray i just been putting the job of repairing it to the side and keep my eye on the oil level... which barely even drops enough for me to worry about till the time comes around to change the oil. ive had transmissions & heads off before so i cant imagine it being much worse.. except the fact of working below the engine.
