i have a 98 zx2 with rear drums, can i put disk on it and use stock 14 in wheels. do i have to change the master cyl.
yes, 14" wheels will work with the RDS. no, you don't need to change the master cyl, unless you want the disk proportioning valve that's at the bottom of the lines...but then you need new fittings, the disk cylinder, and the prop valves. i ran my car without issue for 6 years without the disk MC and rear disks. when i finally got an s/r that had the right cylinder and valves, i noticed absolutely no difference.
2000 S/R FSP build: APC shift knob, LED tails, zx2 sticker on the rear bumper, Silverstar headlights, blue spark plug wires, optima red top battery, Magnaflow muffler, and some lowering springs.
I converted to disc years ago on my BLACK 2001 without changing the master cylinder and they work great and definately better than drums.
This is the only view you should see when on the road with my S/R!
No cheese on my burger please.
That is one of those "can You" or "should you" questions. The answer to both is "Yes".
