    Default Frustrated with local club

    I'm at the point I'm ready to stop running with my local auto x club they have been bumping me every event into a higher class because no one shows up for FSP. They usually bump me into dsp which is no problem most of the time as they want a 3 car class I usually win anyways but at the event today there was only 1 car in dsp today so they bumped me into ESP I beat all the mustangs and now there is suddenly a problem with me winning and they want to undo the results so that I have points based upon my finish against the one dsp car who got bumped to csp So basically all the mustang guys are mad cuz they got beat by an escort. Take a suck.

    that's why I build my car to my liking and not to any spec..around here anything thats not stock or full tilt is basically a misfit

    that sucks. they bumped me in with ESP once last year and i wiped the floor with them. there are a lot of really fast people in ESP, also...so it was a proud moment for me. ever since the ESP people bitched, though...i've just been bumped only with DSP, CSP, and BSP. the BSP porsches aren't a problem, but there was a BMW M3 Nurburgring edition that whooped my ass at the last event. i usually don't mind being bumped..and it seems like everywhere you go FSP is a one or two car class. it sucks...but not as bad as being in a class dominated by SpecCivics like i was in ST (now STC). i'll take the FSP PAX any day. i think it's a fair PAX for the zx2, honestly. such is the life of an FSP driver, though. i just try to get in the top 10 PAX as often as i can...and once i get the shocks sorted out i'll shoot for FTDI if i can.
    2000 S/R FSP build: APC shift knob, LED tails, zx2 sticker on the rear bumper, Silverstar headlights, blue spark plug wires, optima red top battery, Magnaflow muffler, and some lowering springs.

    Yea fsp is a dying class. There used to be more people that ran it many years ago but people are to broke to race their daily drivers which is what the class basically is or they have enough money to buy a nice car.

    true. i was hoping that allowing the SVT focus into FSP would increase participation....but too many people like the street tire classes for obvious reasons ($$$$ vs $$). it sucks that the zx2 is stuck in STC with the SpecCivic. i think it'd be a good fit for STF...but then i'd have to ditch the MFactory LSD. i'm almost ready to move on to an E Stock Miata...but the whole 5 more years of college and not having a full time job thing puts a kink in the cock.

    Here, when they have a small class, they get lumped into 'mens combined' or 'ladies combined'. All the one car class cars get grouped together and have a group of 6, 7, 8 cars whatever...and then are scored on PAX for the class.
