    Which one is ours?
*Used to have a yellow S/R with headers, chip, intake and audio
*I now drive a black Mazda RX-8 during summer and a white Subaru Legacy in the cold winter we have here in Quebec.

The Metal body Orange(19#)tops are EV1 injectors , the Gray(19#)Plastic body is the EV6 injector .

The EV1 injectors are the early style for the ZX2 .The EV6 are the later style used in the ZX2 . Some of the EV6 with the longer connector won't fit , like the Green And Black pictured.

    The EV6 connector won't fit the EV1 injector , but the EV1 connector will fit both . Theres a few EV6 injectors with EV1 connectors , can't remember the size , 24#/30# ?

The fuel rail clips are different between the two , depends on the fuel rail used as to which clip you use , ZX2/ZX3 . I modified the EV6 clip to fit the EV1 injector to fit the Focus fuel rail for the FRM . Theres always something else out there I don't know about , live an learn.

On the stock mustang injectors, are those for the v8 or the v6 or are they the same?

I just switched to the 19# EV6 injectors. I am getting better mileage with these. I guess the 4 hole gate on these atomize the fuel better. I have tried open pintle and 2 hole gate EV1 injectors, and can't get the mileage I get now.

So we have those 19#'ers stock what about those 24#ers off the Lincoln Continental would those be an easy swap onto a Zx2 They look very similar in size and shape so this would lead me to think it would be pretty easy to swap my stock ones out and put some of those on and i'm thinkin it might be good for a few extra ponies (More fuel=more power when properly tuned) I've got my engine pulled right now so i thought i might as well ask this now

You will want to get a tune for the upgrade to a 24# injector to get the max usage for it.....you really don't need to swap injectors just for general bolt-ons...the 19# stock ones would be fine.

So all of them are interchangeable with the stock ones exept the black and green ones with the longer connector? Just wanting to make sure I understand. The EV6 injectors hard to find?
